The Pema Lhadren Buddhist Foundation USA, a Buddhist Church, was founded in the United States by Ven. Vajra Masters Yeshe Thaye and Pema Lhadren, under the Spiritual Guidance of their Root Guru His Holiness Kyabje Chadral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche.
As a Dharma practicing dojo venue of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, the approach of the Pema Lhadren Buddhist Foundation USA is to put education as the main line of our focus and to lay a scientific-based foundation on the understanding of the Buddhist teachings, so as to dispel superstitions of all sorts, and to restore the true and authentic nature of the correct paths of the Buddhist Holy Dharma.
The bimonthly English-Chinese bilingual journal “Lake of Lotus”, together with a free distribution of DVDs on the Buddhist teachings, published by our Gurus, has been widely circulated ever since January 2006. In order to cater for an even wider audience across the world, the “Lake of Lotus” is now further distributed free of charge since November 2012 for easy download in eBook format at http://dudjomba.com/welcome_eng.html.
Due to its thought-provoking insights in using scientific methods of investigations to explain the Buddhist teachings, the Pema Lhadren Buddhist Foundation USA has now been widely acclaimed as one of the most influential Buddhist organizations in the world.
